We can go forward together but you have to let the other side speak as well.”ĭoes the world really need another version of Neil Young’s Keep On Rockin’ In The Free World ? Your gender, age, sex, religion or the colour of your skin – none of that matters. “Seeing that story on the news broke my heart, but I find it hard to listen when I’m being screamed at let’s have a conversation and create an actual plan. The murder of George Floyd inspired Not Mad Enough as a plea for a meaningful dialogue, rather than anarchy and violence. That was the principal point, but with these covers we’re not making carbon copies, and that’s what makes them fun.” ”ĭid you look at some of those fan-sourced suggestions, from Post Malone, INXS and the like and think, ‘No fucking way!’ I wasn’t sure about calling it Smith & Myers as it sounded like a law firm, but three years later we did 22 shows and to our surprise they all sold out. We allowed them to pick the songs we covered. “In 2014, at the request of the fans, we released two EPs. Tell us about the formation of Smith & Myers. He was among the sweetest, kindest people I knew.” I was lucky enough to hang out with Eddie during the early days of Shinedown. “I cried the day that Eddie Van Halen died. To my band’s credit, they pulled the slack for me. We played at The Mayan Theater in Los Angeles and the withdrawal made me feel like I was going to die. In 2014 I had a bad slip-up with my addiction and the following year, when we were touring Threat To Survival, I was clean, but man… it takes a while to get the residuals out of your system. “I’ve had a lot of bad moments on drugs, I’m lucky to be alive. What’s been your worst experience on drugs? Although there was a 10-foot gap between the audience and the stage, I ran from the drums to dive out into them. It was my first time facing a crowd of 30,000 and that felt massive. In 2003, Shinedown played at Memphis In May, a multi-genre event that over the course of a week attracts a million and a half people. “I don’t think of myself as a rock star, except when I’m onstage and that’s performance. When was the first time you felt like a rock star?

Many vehicles can be amphibious, from transport and light armored vehicles to even supply vehicles. Amphibious vehicles: Although impracticable in maritime combat, amphibious vehicles are still able to cross (but more slowly) bodies of water separating them from their objective.Landing craft can transport squads of infantry and heavier equipment such as armored vehicles, but in lower numbers. Landing craft: As their name indicates, you can use landing craft to deploy troops from the sea if the shore is suitable for this type of maneuver. Those troops are made up of all those you can find in a Marine deck (infantry & transport, tanks, support troops, …), plus some Army units. Once a naval reinforcement zone is controlled by one side, he might bring in more troops to land them and open a new front on the beachhead. The bulk of the naval support troops are landing troops. Their role is to bring the fight to the enemy vessels without risking your own in firing range. Patrol craft: Patrol craft are vessels with a very low tonnage, smaller than corvettes, and with a very shallow draft that allows them to use waterways that would be impassable for larger vessels.Īnti-ship planes and helicopters are dedicated ship killers, armed with powerful missiles able to inflict crippling damages to the most powerful ships. They mainly perform an anti-air role and are bristling with anti-air missiles and an array of guns that can intercept enemy air-sea missiles in mid-air. Corvettes: Corvettes are fast, maneuverable vessels with a lower tonnage than frigates, generally deployed to defend more substantial buildings and structures.Reasonably fast and well armored, frigates form the spearhead of any naval force. Frigates: Frigates are medium-sized warships that perform numerous functions similar to multirole fighters: maritime reconnaissance, defense against enemy fleets/anti-surface warfare and anti-air defense. Their multiple cannons have a rapid firing rate that can pierce the armor plating of any hull and sink any ship. Destroyers: Destroyers are large heavily armored, they are designed chiefly to attack enemy fleets.shaken is almost the same as low morale, units do not follow order any more and also stop fighting so they express it on otherways look in detail and zoom in on the units. Ships are of various sizes and firepower, some specialized in air defence, some in ground support, … to secure and cap naval reinforcement zones and bring in the assault barge. It's annoying that units don't have morale and never run away, they always fight to the death. a lot of skill points to DEE skill line and +2 to other Occultist skills.Shroud of Dreeg set - I chose it because it provides I don’t recommend looking at other items in the process. Both Physique and Spirit dump are viable and which you go for depends on the details of your gear. It doesn’t go to waste as I have ~140% Crit damage on DEE. I like having high OA to proc the Secrets of the Guardian (was 400% in 1.1.9.1 when I was building instead of current nerfed 200%) and Annihilation on the hardest enemies. 12% Phys res loss which was still fine for non-Ravager content though. I then changed rings, components and augments a bit in the title variant to get some more damage for SR. So if you do run out of vanilla content (unlikely) or just want to try something new in the game, those features also exist. In my first iteration GrimTools I tried to get as much Phys Res as possible to attempt Ravager but it was too tough. Oh and Grim Dawn also has some great mods, which I am currently exploring. I play both, so I can't really choose between them. It can still be a complex game if you try to figure out all the mechanics without following a guide, but definitely not as complex as POE. It has many different class combinations, which is already different from how POE works. As for if I recommend it or not, Grim Dawn is the closest thing to Diablo 2 that I have played in an RPG in a long time, and Diablo 2 was my first ARPG, so in that way I would definitely recommend it. But I'd still argue it's more focused on creating multiple characters with different types of builds. Of course, you still have things like the Roguelike dungeons, totem farming, nemesis/secret bosses, and even crucible and SRs, if you buy the dlc. In my personal opinion, POE is much more heavily focused on Endgame while Grim Dawn's Endgame is mostly about experimenting with alts. Grim Dawn is very different from Path of Exile. Place the handle and then turn on the train. You need to place the handle on the circuit of the train on the table. Interact with both of the arms to rotate them and when they are in the matching position same as the poster, the box will open from which you will get a handle. Place the missing arm and then you need to match the arm with Shield and Arm with Sword with the poster. You need to place the arm on the box-made soldier near the door of the Tree House. Interact with the Poster to move it and you will find an arm with a sword in hand. Look to the right side of the house and you will see a poster. But you will not be able to get it, you will have to solve a little puzzle to push the Scissors to an end. Once you are inside the Tree House, you will see the Scissors inside a handmade house on the table. Jump on the ladder and then go up the ladder and then jump on the ledge of the tree house to reach the Tree House. You need to jump on the Trampoline a couple of times and you will see the ladder on the roof of the house. Go towards the Tree House and look back at the Green House on the left side. You cannot just use the ladder to get to the Tree House. The tree house is only accessible by a unique technique. The Scissors can be found in a Tree House in front of the Blue House. Players can get Scissors early in the game or later in the game when they need it but Scissors can only be gotten from a specific location. Scissors will be used to cut open different things from where you can get other items that are required for future adventures in the game. Scissors are one of the tools that you can find in your adventure in the Sketchy Neighbor area. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Scissors in Hello Neighbor 2. “They left the top (groove) open for me, I mean, the whole race I think I passed every car on the top.” “Tonight, it was easier and harder, in a sense,” Erb said. Down the frontstretch he came once more, a winner yet again with the World of Outlaws Late Models. Without making any contact, Erb dive-bombed into turn three and slid up in front of Marlar to secure the spot. He threw it very hard into turn one, riding the top edge of the track, and got a big blast off of turn two, pulling dead even under Marlar as they drag raced down the backstretch. Sheppard was able to battle back on the inside to reclaim the runner-up spot briefly, before Erb found the rocket boosters, blasting by Sheppard and charging after Marlar with less than five laps to go.Ĭorner by corner, Erb closed the gap and saw his opportunity with the white flag in the air. By this time, the leaders were in deep lapped traffic, which made things a little dicey for the last ten laps. Sheppard made a costly mistake getting into turn one on lap 40, allowing both Marlar and Erb to sneak by on the inside. The caution came out just a few laps later, settling Erb alongside Marlar.Įrb gave Marlar the bottom lane for the restart, which proved to be the wrong decision, as Marlar took second back immediately and ran with the spot until the final lap. He made the pass for the lead on lap 23 and held it across the stripe before Sheppard dove into turn one and snatched it right back. The battle among the leaders began to heat up around lap 20, when Erb moved into second around Marlar and Chris Madden and appeared hot on then-leader Brandon Sheppard’s tail. “It means a lot to be able to be able to race with these guys like we do and finally have the results that I feel like we should have,” Erb said. Most people would never have bet that Tyler Erb would sweep both nights of the Outlaw Invasion at Chillicothe, Ohio’s Atomic Speedway before this weekend, and yet, he did, taking the race lead away from runner-up Mike Marlar on a last-lap pass for the win. Doing it again, however, is very different, let alone on the very next night. CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - Getting that first win on a national tour for most young guns usually takes a lot of time and frustration. Players that dislike in-game complexity might want to lean towards a sorcerer or a fighter. Players that dislike build-time complexity can easily get away with making a single-classed cleric or rogue and be effective for a long time. Players that enjoy in-game complexity should pursue prepared casters. comes with a serious boost in effectiveness. Players that enjoy build-time complexity should gravitate towards martial characters, where multiclassing and cherry-picking strong synergies in feats/class features/etc. Some classes will fall off pretty hard around level 8 or so without any magic gear. 3.5 assumes that you're regularly looting dungeons for cash, and that you spend most of that money on upgrading your gear. Wealth and treasure can be a big part of a character build at high levels, and even at mid levels it makes a big difference. If your players have particular archetypes in mind, you might want to help guide them towards an appropriate prestige class early enough for them to meet prereqs (or allow rebuilds). 5e's archetype/subclass system roughly translates to prestige classes in 3.5, but prestige classes require chasing some prerequisites to enter. Some thoughts on how to onboard new people: If you like a "zero to hero" game, this is it.Īs for on-boarding folks familiar with 5e - many ideas translate pretty well (the base d20 system is still there, after all). When you reach high levels, you're effectively playing demigods taking on problems out in the wider universe. As you advance through the mid levels, you gradually get more power and your strategy for tackling different situations change as new options open up to you. As you move from low levels to mid levels, your build fleshes out a bit and you start to succeed in your area of expertise most of the time. If you have a character concept in mind, it's pretty likely that 3.5 supports it out of the box, or with minimal tweaking.ģ.5 supports a wide variety of power levels, and has a (mostly) smooth gradient between them. It's possible to build very simple-to-play characters, and very complex-to-play characters, and those characters can both meaningfully contribute to the same party - meaning that someone who wants that extra complexity can have it, but someone who doesn't isn't forced to. If you want a game with depth during play and in character building, 3.5 is the system for you. Most of my table have never touched it.Here's my sales pitch:ģ.5 is a giant basket of mechanically unique options for building characters. I myself am decently familiar with the system, but haven't played in it much. Is there a "5e player's guide to 3.5" floating around? I'm looking for something to introduce a 5e table to 3.5, so they know what to expect, what's different, and so on. I've mostly played and run 5e, and I want to try 3.5 more. Granted, in games I’m running, the PCs are hindered by the fact that they can’t change their XP total (because I’m too lazy to calculate XP for characters of different levels), so they have to purchase XP components, use Dark Craft XP, etc.Ĭontrast that to 2e, where a great many of the characters who advanced far enough to be able to craft did so, creating memorable items in the process. I could count on a single hand the number of characters I remember crafting in 3e, and, if my senility acts up, I might still have the fingers free to Thanos snap. Surely not every table wants to be able to craft very unique homebrew stuff, but crafting with the many weapon and armor qualities and crafting wands with standard rules are very commonplace.Hmmm… it’s kinda obviously better to be a 10th level character with 100,000 gp worth of items than one with 50,000 (or to just not level for a while, and have 200,000+ in items), yet I’ve personally not seen it - almost nobody actually goes the crafting route. Each party has its own power level, but more importantly each character feels unique. It gives the power to the player, and away from the book. In a game where optimizing is fun, where seeing a character do what you intend for them to do is fulfilling and with such a difference between a character built optimally and a casual one, class imbalance isn't a problem. Or, hell, decent sorcerers, wizards and initiators, but with a fun gimmick that a new player couldn't have made to work. Experimented players could make overpowered sorcerers wizards or initiators, but they know people would like the game more if they made decent fighters, binders or incarnates. New players can make decent sorcerers, wizards or initiators. But you should make a character that is balanced with the rest of the party. You can make immensely useless characters with no action to speak of that will make you feel bad during the whole campaign. You can make absolutely horrid characters, breaking campaigns and party cohesion by sheer power. May I direct you to the quote in my sig? 3.5 is the system to do anything. That’s pretty much the extent of the controls at the moment and it can lead to some very silly, slapstick brawls, especially with 4 players playing at a time, trying to grab and position the other players so that they’ll fall to their doom. If you grab an objects or people with both hands then you’ll lift them over your head. Grabs are done with the shoulder buttons of an Xbox control pad (it’s best played with a control pad), allowing you to grab onto enemies, scenery and objects with your left and right hands. Your characters move-set is pretty sparse, with the only actions available to you being jump, grab and pummel. There are a selection of interesting environments for you to fight on, such as moving lorries and Ferris wheels, with an aim to shove the other players off or into hazards, leaving you the last man standing. Gang Beasts is a a very silly fighting game with an odd control scheme, reminiscent of Surgeon Simulator, that features some adorable, comically animated characters.īearing in mind that this is a very early build, as a fighting game it’s (intentionally) technically pretty terrible, with an awkward control scheme and clumsy characters that make the game extremely entertaining. Neil Turbin era and debut album (1982–1984) Īnthrax in 1983. The band recorded its first demo tape during this time. Turbin joined the band partly because of guitarist Walls, who Turbin later said was "the best guitarist Anthrax ever had". Ian's younger brother Jason Rosenfeld had been a temporary vocalist until Ian's former schoolmate Neil Turbin joined the band in late August 1982. Weiss was then replaced early on by drummer Greg D'Angelo, who was recommended to the band by Walls. Kahn was briefly replaced by bassist Kenny Kushner before Lilker took over on bass and the band brought in lead guitarist Greg Walls. Anthrax's initial line-up was completed by singer John Connelly, and bassist Paul Kahn. Lilker originally intended for Scott Setari to play bass in the band, during their early phases as a cover band. The band was named after the disease of the same name which Ian saw in a biology textbook, chosen because it sounded "sufficiently evil". History Formation (1981–1982) Īnthrax was formed in Queens, New York City, on July 18, 1981, by guitarists Scott Ian and Dan Lilker, with Ian's friend Dave Weiss on drums. After two stints in Anthrax, from 1984 to 1992 and again from 2005 to 2007, Belladonna returned to the band in 2010. Ian and Benante (who replaced one-time drummer Greg D'Angelo in 1983) are the only two members to appear on every album, while Bello has been a member of Anthrax since 1984, replacing original bassist Dan Lilker. Since 2013, the band has consisted of Ian, drummer Charlie Benante, bassist Frank Bello, vocalist Joey Belladonna and lead guitarist Jonathan Donais. The band has had a revolving cast of singers and lead guitarists, including Neil Turbin, John Bush, Dan Spitz and Rob Caggiano. Īnthrax's lineup has changed numerous times over their career, leaving Ian as the only constant member of the band. Four of the band's studio albums have also achieved gold certifications by the RIAA, including their third full-length record Among the Living (1987), which cemented Anthrax's reputation as one of the most successful thrash metal bands. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Anthrax sold 2.5 million records in the United States from 1991 to 2004, with worldwide sales of 10 million. The band has released 11 studio albums, several other albums, and 26 singles, including collaborating on a single with American hip hop group Public Enemy. They were also one of the first thrash metal bands (along with Overkill and Nuclear Assault) to emerge from the East Coast. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker.
